Short North Tour Of Homes & Gardens

This year’s tour features a unique range of home styles that define the eclectic character of the Short North including historic, grand mansions; a sleek, new high rise; an artistic immersive home; complete top-to-bottom renovations; new additions where kids play & grow; lush gardens & outdoor living spaces -plus- a dramatic repurposed Gothic Revival church designed by famed architect, J. Upton Gribben former, employee of Frank Packard.

Be prepared to be inspired by homeowners who have rebuilt, renovated and restored to express personal taste, accommodate growing families, and preserve the architectural gem they’ve come to love & cherish.

The tour starts at the historic Caretaker’s Cottage & Shelterhouse in the middle of Goodale Park. With its scenic pond, iconic elephant fountain & gazebo–Goodale Park is the perfect starting point for the 2023 tour. Tour attendees will receive their ticket + tour program before they begin making their way through the neighborhood – either aboard one of the free shuttle buses or on their own as a self-guided walking tour. Tour-goers can look forward to getting a rare ‘sneak peek’ opportunity of experiencing what’s ‘behind-the-front door’ of each of the 7 GRAND HOMES–PLUS a BONUS STOP @ Stauf’s Coffee shop located in a repurposed Gothic Revival church on Neil Avenue.
