Screen on the Green: Clue
July 21, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
Screen on the Green is back for another year in Goodale Park!
Presented on a great big, inflatable screen with high-quality sound, the movies are accompanied by pre-movie short films and a variety of delicious mobile food options plus homemade desserts from the Hubbard Mastery School’s PopUp BakeShop. As a new treat this year, series supporter Grandview Theater & Drafthouse will be selling popcorn before each show.
A stellar cast brings Clue, the infamous board game of murder and whodunit, to vivid, ridiculous life. This 1985 comedy stars Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Martin Mull, Christopher Lloyd, Leslie Ann Warren, and Lee Ving from the seminal punk band Fear as Mr. Body.
The screening starts at sunset (@9 p.m.) and food is available at least one hour before showtime. Food vendors include: Ajumama, Sunnyside Tacos, Hubbard Mastery School PTO PopUp BakeShop, and J-Pops gourmet ice pops.
Coming up: Singin’ in the Rain (1952) on Friday, August 18, and Pee-wee’s Big Adventure (1985) on Friday, September 15.
Screen on the Green is presented by the Short North Civic Association with additional support from Comfest and Grandview Theater & Drafthouse.
