Eclecticism is a dynamic jazz-fusion project blending Afro-Beat, Funk, Jazz, Soul, and Groove into a high-energy, boundary-crossing sound. Ron Holmes, a bassist and bandleader known for his work with the jazz fusion collective fo/mo/deep, leads the Eclecticism Project, which explores a rich tapestry of musical styles including Afro-Beat, Jazz, Funk, Soul, and Groove. The ensemble is designed to deliver a full-bodied, high-energy sound with a lineup featuring a powerful horn section, Afro-Latin and African-influenced percussion, and a soulful, blues/funk-driven guitarist, creating a sonic experience reminiscent of legendary supergroups of the past.
