From fabulous Queen Anne mansions to fashionable farmhouse, this year’s tour showcases the unique, eclectic character that IS the Short North! The 2025 Tour of Homes & Gardens invites you on a self-guided exploration through the Short North’s Victorian Village and Italian Village neighborhoods, highlighting exceptional restoration, innovative renovation and use of outdoor spaces.

WHEN is the Short North Tour of Homes & Gardens?
Sunday September 21st, 2025 – 10am to 4pm
This is a self guided tour of the Short North Victorian Village and Italian Village neighborhoods.
WHEN is the Short North Tour of Homes & Gardens Preview Tour & Party?
Saturday September 20th – Location is the poolside terrace at the Circus House – 755 Dennison Avenue, Columbus Ohio
Preview the tour homes from 4:30pm to 7pm, then return to party location at 7pm to party until 10pm –
Tickets are required and limited!
If I buy tickets online, do you mail tickets to me?
No tickets will be mailed! When you purchase tickets online, you’ll receive an e-ticket to check in at the Will-Call desk at Goodale Park where you’ll start your tour!
WHERE do I start the tour?
Start the tour in Goodale Park (Google Maps address is 120 W. Goodale Ave, Columbus Ohio 43215). Tour attendees will pick up their ticket and tour program. If you’ve purchased tickets online, you need to check in at the will-call desk and pick up your ticket required to gain entry into the homes on tour. If you haven’t purchased tickets, you can do so at that time.
Do I have to visit the homes in a certain order or can go in any order I prefer?
You can visit the homes in any order you prefer – they are numbered on the map for convenience but feel free to start and end the tour any where you like. Note the shuttles run in the route indicated on the tour program map.
How much are tickets to the Short North Tour of Homes & Gardens?

Is shuttle transportation available?
YES – free shuttles are available throughout the day until 4pm. Shuttles drive a set route through the day stopping and picking up guest at each home on tour – sidewalk signs indicate shuttle boarding areas.

Where can I park?
On-street parking is FREE on Sundays!
Limited parking available in Goodale Park.
On-street parking available on Goodale St., Park St., Poplar & Neil Ave.
Nearby Parking Pay Garages:
1. Joseph Parking Garage – 32 E. Russell Street
2. Hubbard Parking Garage – 26 E. Hubbard St.
3. Goodale Parking Garage – 66 E. Goodale Street (across from Convention Center)
4. White Castle Garage – corner of West 2nd Ave. and High

Are photos permitted?
YES. Photos are permitted and encouraged – hashtag your photos #shortnorthtour
What should I wear?
Comfortable shoes! The tour goes on rain or shine so be sure to bring an umbrella if there’s a chance of rain. If the weather is severe, check the Short North Civic Association Facebook page. Tickets are non-refundable.
What is prohibited?
Food, drinks, smoking and pets are not permitted in the homes or gardens.
Who coordinates the Short North Tour of Homes & Gardens?
The Short North Civic Association, a nonprofit civic group working to benefit the Short North community. The tour and preview party are the SNCA’s primary annual fundraising event.
Where do proceeds go from the tour?
Profits from the preview party and home tour help Short North Civic Association fund community events such as Screen on the Green, a free outdoor movie series, Goodale Park Music Series, streetscape beautification and other projects.
Can I drive to the gardens on the tour?
Yes but you must get your tour program and entry ticket before you start the tour. You will need your ticket to gain entry into the homes. Worth noting walking gives you the full flavor of the neighborhood and if you get tired of walking, shuttles come around approx every 15 minutes.
Are restrooms available?
Yes! You may use the restroom facilities in the Goodale Park and there are numerous restaurants along High St that will permit you to use their facilities. Restrooms in the homes on tour are not available to the public.
