134 Warren Street
Owners: Masana Noma and Butters
This 1900-sq. ft. home, located in the heart of Italian Village, was built in 1920 and remodeled in 2015. Renovations include an entertainer’s kitchen with custom leathered granite, cabinets will a rollout drawer, glass tile backsplash, two ovens, built-in refrigerator/freezer in the kitchen island and brick enclosed breakfast nook with skylight and floor-to-ceiling window. This two bed/two-and-a-half bath features a fireplace in each room (total of 4 fireplaces). After purchasing the home in April 2015, Masana added an outdoor kitchen to entertain guests, as well as an indoor bar in the sitting room.
Masana is a fan of interior design and describes her style as rustic-industrial contemporary modern (which is also how Taylor Swift describes her new album, probably) and has decorated her home with furniture pieces from local vendors such as Elm & Iron and Bungalow Home as well as Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn. The upstairs has a more contemporary feel, as her favorite shade of inspirational gray can be found throughout the house.
Masana fell in love with the home as soon as she walked in. As a young, first-time home buyer, the location could not be more perfect: walking distance to bars, shopping, a short bike ride or walk to her office, and the overall “vibe” of Short North.
